On June 19, 2020, in accordance with Bexar County Executive Order NW-10, CPS Energy implemented a COVID-19 Health & Safety Policy to reduce the potential for the spread of COVID-19 in our workplace. Face covering is required. Our modified customer service center hours are 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday. If you have tested positive or a family member has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days, please use our online tools or call 210-353-2222 for assistance. Please do not visit our customer service center if you have COVID-19 symptoms.

CPS Energy Board of Trustees ratify the decision to waive the late fee that is contained in current CPS Energy tariffs, with the condition that each customer establishes a payment plan and make timely payments in accordance with those payment plans during the current disconnection suspension period. This resolution was ratified by our Board at the April 27, 2020 Board meeting. The San Antonio City Council unanimously voted to adopt an ordinance approving the Board’s action.

PRODUCT SUPPLY UPDATE:

CPS Energy received notice that a few of our product suppliers are experiencing production/delivery delays due to the global public health response to the emergence of COVID-19, a virus that currently has significant international attention. While we do not expect these delays to affect our customers, CPS Energy has identified alternate suppliers for this equipment, if needed. Additionally, we work with suppliers from around the world, and we are taking steps to identify possible delays to find solutions to ensure we continue to provide the reliable services our customers expect. As the situation continues to evolve, we will provide relevant updates as needed.
